Only 3 blocks away you will find historic Mobile Bay and several miles of beautifully landscaped public beaches, rose gardens and parks. Spectacular sunsets may be viewed from the impressive municipal pier.
Tastefully restored throughout, this home contains 5 generations of family antiques and heirlooms. For relaxation, our guests are invited to use the large comfortable living room, front porch line with highback rockers or discover the lovely garden courtyard where a feeling of seclusion and peacefulness pervades. Your breakfast will be served in the formal dining room with its Tiffany stained glass chandelier.
The guest bedrooms, which are name for the great granddaughters, are exceptionally spacious, and each has its own private bath. Laura Leigh's room is pleasantly furnished in period oak pieces with a king size bed and Ellen Elizabeth's room features her great grandmother's Jenny Lind bedroom suite. Both rooms are located on the first floor. A carpeted staircase leads to Ashley Anne's second floor suite. Here her great great grandmother's spool furniture fills the sunny room with a queen size bed. The bath contains the original clawfoot tub and turtle back beaded board ceilings. Your hosts, Bill and Becky Jones, are sure that you will enjoy your stay at Church Street Inn in Fairhope, the loveliest village on the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay.
