The Trail is quickly becoming one of the country's most unique and exciting attractions. Challenging, elegant and beautiful, the Trail is really a network of 18 courses designed by golf course architect Robert Trent Jones, spread out over 7 facilities across the entire state of Alabama. Each of the facilities (in Birmingham, Huntsville, Mobile, Auburn/Opelika, Dothan, Greenville, and Calhoun County) includes two 18-hole or three 9-hole championship courses, as well as an 18- or 9-hole short course. The holes, both beautiful and challenging, are some of the best in the south.
