Moundville Native American Festival, a week-long event held during the first full week of October where Native Americans perform traditional dances and songs, make and sell authentic handicrafts and food, and demonstrate the use of weapons such as the bow, blowgun and atlatl at Moundville Archaeological Park, 205-371-2572.
