This house was built in
1880 by the Eagle Cedar Mill entirely of native yellow pine as an
employee and guest house. Later it was operated as a boarding house by
the sister of Senator David Yulee, for whom this county was named.
Purchased by BC Wadley in 1919, the house remained in the same family
until 1991.
Lovingly and painstakingly restored, the home once again is offering gracious accommodations. Canopied by centuries old live oaks, the rambling 2 story offers a restful Victorian ambiance. Capture the Gulf breezes and celebrate the unique Cedar Key sunset from your rocker overlooking the Gulf. Savor a home made breakfast with gourmet coffee and teas. Enjoy complimentary tea and baked goods each afternoon.
