The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art houses the world's most
comprehensive collection of the works of Louis Comfort Tiffany, a major
collection of American Art Pottery and representative collections of
late 19th and early 20th century American painting, graphics and the
decorative arts.
Founded by Jeannette Genius McKean in 1942 and named for her
industrialist grandfather, its collections were built over a half
century by Mrs McKean and her husband, Hugh McKean, who served as the
Museum's director until his death in 1995. The museum is fully
handicapped-accessible.
HOURS: 9:30 AM to 4 PM Tuesday through Saturday, 1 PM to 4 PM Sunday.
ADMISSION: Adults $3, Students $1, children under 12 free.
DIRECTIONS: Take the I-4 Fairbanks Ave exit east to Park Ave, left for 4 traffic lights to 445 Park Ave North.
