This Queen Anne Victorian house was the winter getaway for wealthy businessman, Cyrus B. Thurston of Minneapolis. Built in 1885, Thurston House has been restored to its original splendor. The woodwork of pine and cypress gleams - boasting a magnificent built-in server and wainscotting in the dining room, original hardwood floors throughout, six beautiful mantels and wonderful wood paneling.
Four guest rooms, all with queen-sized beds, private baths and desk with phone, await you. Awaken to the aroma of baked goods and fresh brewed coffee after a peaceful nights rest. The bountiful expanded continental breakfast will be served by candlelight in the dining room. Stroll the beautiful grounds with over an acre of fruit trees, camillia and other flowering bushes, herb garden and flower garden. Find the small hide-away areas with benches throughout the yard or be active by playing croquet or fishing from the banks of Lake Eulalia. Sip wine in the swing in a cozy corner of the porch, or mingle with the other guests in one of the many comfortable chairs. Watching the birds frolicking among the bushes is another favorite activity here at Thurston House.

Thurston House is located on the right side of the street. From Orlando, take I-4 Exit 46 and continue straight on Wymore Rd. Turn right onto Kennedy Blvd. Kennedy becomes Lake Ave. Thurston House is located on the left side of the street.
