Banyan House

Venice, Florida
The Banyan House is one of the grand old homes of Venice that has been delightfully restored as a European-style "Bed and Breakfast" Guest House. The elegant living room with Victorian furnishings around the Italian sculptured fireplace, together with the high-beamed ceiling and the red tile floor, provide an ideal atmosphere for friendly conversation, a game of cards, or just relaxing with a book. Or enjoy the privacy and comfort of the walled courtyard containing a tropical garden, pool and spa under the shade of an enormous Banyon tree. The guest rooms and suites are bright and airy and tastefully decorated, each with its own particular charm. Each unit has cable TV. Some units have private balconies or patios. Fresh towels and maid service are provided every day except Sunday. Laundry facilities are available on-premises.

The Banyon House is centrally located on "The Island" in Venice, just a short walk from all the great activities and places here: sandy beaches for swimming, fishing and shelling (prehistoric shark's teeth abound), golf, tennis, sailing, theater, great restaurants and quaint shoppes along Venice Avenue. Complimentary bicycles are available. Other area attractions include the Ringling Museum and Ca'd'Zan Mansion, Sarasota Jungle Gardens and Selby Botanical Gardens.

The innkeepers are committed to making your next Florida vacation a most relaxing and memorable experience - one that will make you want to come back again and again to this truly unique vacation residence on the Florida Gulf Coast.
