Garden of Eden Ball brings fantasy to life on the Great Lawn. Under a white tent, guests dine and dance and enjoy the last summer breezes before autumn at this principal fund-raiser for the Atlanta Botanical Garden, 404-876-5859.

OCTOBER

Sunday in the Park offers picnic lunches, story telling, music, tours, a hat contest, and teddy bear tea for children on the 1st Sunday in October at the Historic Oakland Cemetary, 404-688-2107.
