The inn offers a variety of
accommodations from affordable, elegant
rooms to luxurious suites with garden overlooks, whirlpools and a
separate steam bath. The Rose Room has an 18th Century hand-painted
4-poster bed, corner windows and a working fireplace. The English Suite
features 3 beautiful rooms and a private outdoor deck. The Ivy Cottage
(shown left) is a detached bungalow decorated in a light Nantucket
style with a separate living room and sofa bed, full kitchen, king-size
bedroom and laundry facilities. All rooms have private baths and
televisions, and include an elaborate continental breakfast prepared by
the proprietor, an avid chef published in the magazine Bon Appetit.
Located in the Virginia Highlands neighborhood, the Gaslight Inn is approximately 5 minutes from the downtown business and convention district, and served by Atlanta's public transportation system. Within blocks you will discover some of the finest restaurants, shops, theaters and art galleries in Atlanta.
