Feel the wind in your face as you ride an open trolley. Marvel at the beauty and craftmanship of our early 20th Century trolley and transit vehicles.

The Seashore Trolley Museum is the principal activity of the New England Electric Railway Historical Society, a non-profit educational foundation. The museum was founded in 1939 as the Seashore Electric Railway to save Biddeford and Saco open trolley #31 from destruction. Fifty eight years and many cars later we have grown into the OLDEST and LARGEST electric railway museum in the world! Our "Worldwide" collection includes

HOURS: May weekends, June daily 10:30 am to 5:00 pm; July-August daily 9:30 am to 6:30 pm; September daily, October weekends 9:30 am to 5:00 pm.

ADMISSION: $8.00 adults, $4.50 children 6-16, $6.00 seniors. Group rates (12 or more people) and family rates are available.

DIRECTIONS: From Boston, take I-95 North to Maine Turnpike Exit 3. Follow Rt 35 to Kennebunk. Take Rt 1 North for 2.8 miles to the traffic light between Antiques USA and the Arundel Antique Village. Turn right onto Log Cabin Road. From Biddeford: Take Rt 1 South to the traffic light between Arundel Antique Village and Antiques USA. Turn left onto Log Cabin Road. From Kennebunkport, drive west to the end of Maine St. Turn right onto North St which becomes Log Cabin Rd.
