The Old Town Hall Museum

Built in 1798-1800, this Georgian-style structure functioned as a
center of political and social activities during the height of
Wilmington's mercantile-milling economy. It once housed the city's
meeting chambers, offices, and jail and served as the headquarters and
gathering place of almost all local civic organizations and a
subscription library. Museum features changing exhibits of Delaware
decorative arts.
