Manager Susan Prevost and her staff strive to make business- and pleasure-travelers alike feel welcome in a way that larger hotels cannot. "Guests like the fact that we remember them from the last time they stayed with us," she says. The elegant setting at the Wayne Hotel, with its delicate chandeliers, potted palms, and columned walls, belies the relaxed atmosphere and attentive attitude of your hosts, who are happy to assist guests with travel plans and directions. For active getaways, the Wayne Hotel is ideally situated, with easy access to historic Philadelphia (30 minutes by train, and the station is just a 1-block walk from the hotel).
