Wagon Train encampments with food and entertainment along Route 40 at
Addison, Great Meadows, Uniontown, and Brownsville. The National Pike
Festival commemorates the very first national road commissioned by
Thomas Jefferson opening travel over the mountains, helping to settle
the west. Wagoners with their teams of horses re-enact early travel
along the nation's first turnpike.
